It’s that time again, time for the Summer Solstice. In 2010, this phenomenon occurs on June 21st (tomorrow). In a nutshell, “the days are longer around the summer solstice and shorter around the winter solstice. When the Sun’s path crosses the equator, the days and nights are of equal length; this is known as an equinox.” Video after the break — image above via.
