Real-Life Facebook “Like” Button

Showing the world that you like something in real-life just got a lot easier, thanks to this real-life Facebook “Like” button. That’s right, “the box not only looks exactly like the Facebook Like button you see all over the internet, it actually uses the open source Arduino software platform to record how many people press the button.” In related news, click the pictures above to see ways your parents can embarass you on Facebook.

The artist says the button isn’t actually connected to Facebook, but it’s easy to see why that would be useful. Beyond all the smartcards and QR codes, this very simple solution, if situated at a location and connected wirelessly to a company’s Facebook account, could really turn into a direct way to bring customers into your storefront.
