PlayStation 4


Sony is already hard at work on the PlayStation 4, or so they say. Unfortunately, “the chances of it showing up at E3 next month are slim-to-none, but they chould be in line to unveil it later this year or early next year with an eye on a holiday 2012 release.”

Sony has stuck to the claim that the PS3 has a ten-year life cycle, which would have it dying off in 2016, but consoles generally hang on for a few years after their predecessors are released as low-cost options.

    its WAY too early to announce the ps4 give the ps3 more years there’s more potential for the ps3 i.e. alowing ps3 to play ps2 games (hint hint, sony.)

    This is retarded. It isnt even an article. Its 2 pictures, one of PSx/ps2 add on, the other of a concept controller that sony decided to overlook BEFORE the ps3 was launched.

    What a waste of journalism, even if they were working on a PS4 for a 2014 release (which most people expects) they still wouldn’t even have had a design, much less will they make it white and uglier than it’s predecessor.
